Even my mum told me this last year! Not sure how did it came, think I was telling her about something that was bothering me and she says: "Ahhhh Carla, why do you worry about it!? It will all END in 2012...". I simply started laughing, I guess thinking about an END above it all, kind of takes the weight out of our sholders, isn't it?!

I like to read about the various interpretations. You have the positive and negative approach of it, the romantic renew and the dramatic END of all times.... And apparently people is more into the BIG BANG BOOM catastrophe, finally we all die and learn a lesson, I wonder why?

Another NYE in Angola

For a change, this year I spent Xmas in Portugal !! Was nice and cold =) but I had to come down a bit earlier because of work and spent the NYE here, well was not that bad, especially when you get used to enjoy festivities in the hot weather!!

On my last session, while discussing things to do during my time in India, the instructor shared:

"I'm planning to take my kid to the village, so that he can see the stars, with the polution in Mumbai he hasn't been able to see it, can you see it in Luanda?"

I'm finally here!

After delays, stressful arrangements, a long bumpy flight, I arrived in Mumbai...

At the same time I was looking for a plate with my name between the bunch of heads looking for their passengers, in the overcrowded arrivals gate, I was wondering... "Why am I so scarily anxious!? I've done this on my own without any driver or hotel reservation arranged." Don't know, maybe I'm getting scared of crowds and mess, two of Mumbai's middle names.

That's what I remember seeing as soon as I left the airport, crowds and mess. Lots of people, carrying lots of things, moving and moving in lots of directions, under this hot sticky weather.

We're staying at Navi Mumbai, according to my certified translation by a real Indian dude , means New Mumbai, one hour drive from the center on a good day.

Today we drove around town , visited Gateaway of India and Victoria Central Station...

I would love to see this show!
